Ophthalmology Diagnostic Services
- Aberrometry.
- Removal of superficial foreign bodies.
- Biometrics with Barrett's formula, ultrasonic eyepiece, and optics.
- Endothelial biomicroscopy with cell counter.
- Biopsy of ocular tissues.
- Tonometric curve.
- Examination of the computerized visual field, to diagnose and monitor eye diseases (e.g. glaucoma), neuro-ophthalmological, and cerebro-vascular diseases.
- Examination of the chromatic sense (Ishihara test).
- Fundus examination.
- Orthoptic exercises.
- Gonioscopy.
- Washing and probing of the tear pathways.
- O.C.T. macula, to diagnose and monitor maculopathies and to study peripillary fibers in case of suspected glaucoma.
- Complete O.C.T. (macula + optic nerve).
- Corneal pachymetry.
- Pupillometry.
- Glaucoma screening: complete eye examination, with measurement of eye pressure and evaluation of the optic papilla, specialized examinations for the study of retinal sensitivity (computerized visual field), and functional state of nerve fibers and retinal ganglion cells (OCT).
- Treatment of glaucoma (if diagnosed in time, glaucoma can be well controlled with proper therapy).
- Screening of diabetic and hypertensive retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, occupational medicine and assessment of suitability for refractive surgery.
- Eye swab with antibiogram.
- BUT, contrast sensitivity and Shirmer tests.
- Tomography of the optic nerve.
- Tonometry.
- Corneal topography.
- YAG Laser and Retinal Laser Treatment.
- Eye examination for adults (also renewal of the license) and children (pediatric and preschool), ophthalmoplasty, neuro-ophthalmologic, and orthoptic surgery.
