Prof. Paolo Capozzi

Dr. Capozzi is a pediatric ophthalmologist. He carries out scientific research in the context of various aspects of the pediatric eye pathology with particular regard to congenital cataract, the development and improvement of surgical technique and the means of rehabilitation. In recent years, he has dedicated himself to the pathologies of the eye area using regenerative medicine techniques and stem cell transplantation. He is responsible for the ophthalmology-pulistic operating unit of surgery and UOC transplant center of ophthalmology-pediatric hospital Bambino Gesù in Rome. He is the author of numerous scientific publications and member of the Board of Directors (Auditor) of the Pediatric Ophthalmological Society.
