Prof. Danilo Dodero

Specialist in obstetrics and gynecology with extensive internationally recognized experience in the field. He has performed more than 7000 abdominal, vaginal and laparoscopic major gynecologic surgeries. An expert in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders, he has developed an innovative surgical technique for vaginal pelvic reconstruction using a bovine pericardium biological graft device (2015 international patent "Butterfly 3D" by ASSUTEUROPE), which provides a safe biological reinforcement for native fascial reconstruction of the pelvic floor.

Since 2016 he is Scientific Manager and K.O.L. for Ladylift Diode Gynecological Laser Therapy for EUFOTON Italy. He specializes in the use of non-ablative laser in gynecology for the treatment of genito-urinary menopausal syndrome (GSM), vaginal rejuvenation, treatment of atrophy and incontinence, as well as for vulvo-perineal aesthetic and functional improvement. She is also involved in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders.

He has held numerous senior positions, including Director of the Autonomous Module in Prenatal Diagnosis and Obstetric-Gynecological Ultrasound at the E.O. Ospedali Galliera IRCSS in Genoa; Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Director of the Department for the Protection of Women's and Children's Health at the ASL 4 "Chiavarese" Hospital in Lavagna (Genoa); Director of the Urogynecology and Pelvic Floor Center at the IRCSS San Giuseppe Hospital in Milan from 2016 to 2018.
