Dr. Dario Mascello is a medical doctor and surgeon specialized in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, with recognized expertise in Pediatric Orthopaedics.

He earned his medical degree and specialist qualification at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. He further enhanced his training through an advanced fellowship at the Clinique Générale in Annecy, France, where he developed specific expertise in shoulder disorders, and by completing a Second-Level University Master's Degree in Knee Pathology at the University of Molise.

His clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of musculoskeletal disorders affecting children and adolescents, ranging from congenital conditions such as developmental dysplasia of the hip and congenital clubfoot, to functional and acquired disorders including flatfoot, genu varum (bow legs), genu valgum (knock knees), kyphosis, and scoliosis, as well as traumatic injuries such as meniscal tears, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, and patellar and shoulder dislocations. He has extensive expertise in both arthroscopic and open surgical techniques involving the knee and shoulder, with particular specialization in the orthotic and surgical management of pediatric flatfoot and knee alignment disorders in children and adolescents.

Since 2005, he has served as a Staff Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital, Palidoro campus.
