Dr. Raffaele Murace

Dr. Raffaele Murace is an expert dermatologist with extensive experience. After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Florence, he specialised in Dermatology and Venereology at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza'.

Dr. Murace has held positions of responsibility with the Italian Air Force in the field of aerospace medicine and has actively contributed as a member and examiner in commissions for obtaining the Italian Military Pilot's Licence, as well as in ascertaining the causes of flight accidents.

His career in dermatology has seen Dr. Murace take on key roles in numerous healthcare facilities as head of dermatology services in several nursing homes and outpatient clinics. He has been a point of reference for the training of doctors and has contributed to numerous refresher and continuing education courses for healthcare professionals.

Parallel to his medical activities, Murace has distinguished himself in the field of research, collaborating with institutions and organisations on melanoma and skin cancer screening. He has conducted relevant scientific research in the field of skin diseases, publishing texts and contributing to international journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer and Experimental Dermatology. He has actively participated in innovative scientific projects, such as the FIDE Project for the early diagnosis of melanoma in collaboration with the Italian Space Agency. Member of the Academy of the History of Health Art and founding member of the Futura Onlus Foundation.
