Dr. Grazia Pia Ricciardi

Dr. Ricciardi specializes in Endocrinology. He is particularly involved in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid nodular pathology. He performs diagnostic ultrasound examinations, internist ultrasounds and thyroid echocolordoppler. She has extensive experience in the management of decompensated, insulin-treated and type 1 diabetic patients. She is an expert in the use of advanced technologies for the treatment of diabetes, such as continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and subcutaneous insulin infusion by means of a pump (CSII) in paediatric and adult patients. She also provides support in nutrition education and carbohydrate counting as a support for diabetic patients undergoing intensive insulin treatment and pump therapy. She is in charge of the Diabetology Service of the Latina Local Health Authority (District 1).
