Dr. Claudio Ventura

Claudio Ventura is a medical doctor specialized in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, with over 30 years of expertise in managing autoimmune, cardiovascular, hepatic, infectious, metabolic, oncology, pulmonary, and renal diseases.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ventura coordinated and organized specialized outpatient clinics focused on cardiology, angiology, and endocrinology, with particular emphasis on endocrine disorders, including obesity, dyslipidemia, thyroid diseases, and diabetes. Dr. Ventura is a recognized expert in the management of diabetes mellitus and its complications, with specialized knowledge in various types of diabetes, including type 1 and type 2, MODY, and LADA.  In the field of endocrinology, Dr. Ventura extensively studied and treated adrenal and pituitary disorders, as well as nodular and autoimmune thyroid diseases.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery at La Sapienza University in Rome, he specialized in Internal Medicine at the same university. He later earned a degree in Endocrinology from the University of Tor Vergata in Rome, and completed a master's in "Diabetes Mellitus Treatment and its Complications" at La Sapienza University.

Dr. Ventura is currently staff physician and director of the Internal Medicine Unit and of the Endocrine Diseases and Metabolic Disorders Unit at Ospedale Israelitico in Rome. Previously, he worked at the same institution in the areas of diabetology, metabolic diseases, and endocrinology.

Dr. Ventura is the author of numerous scientific publications in the fields of internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, and diabetology.
