Dr. Matteo Vittori

Matteo Vittori is a medical doctor specialized in Urology, with extensive experience in urological surgery and minimally-invasive and robotic surgery.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Urology at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome where he also completed a Ph.D. in Endocrine-Metabolic and Endocrine-Surgical Experimental Sciences.

His surgical practice is primarily focused on robot-assisted procedures for the treatment of neoplasms of the urogenital tract. He has extensive experience in reconstructive surgery and ultra-minimally invasive surgical treatment (uMIST) of benign prostatic hyperplasia and advanced endourological procedures for kidney stones. He has performed live surgeries at notable national and international conferences in the field.

He is currently staff physician at the Robotic and Minimally-Invasive Urology Department of Policlinico Tor Vergata in Rome.

His main research interests include urological oncology and the development of innovative technologies for minimally-invasive surgery. He is the author of over 50 publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals and a regular reviewer for numerous journals.
