Dr. Fabio Zannoni

Dr. Fabio Zannoni is a medical doctor specialized in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy, with over 30 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

He provides comprehensive patient care throughout the entire diagnostic and therapeutic process, with a particular focus on endoscopic procedures. He performs diagnostic endoscopic examinations with biopsies, as well as operative procedures (such as polypectomies), under deep sedation and with anesthesiological assistance.

He also follows patients with digestive system disorders during clinical and endoscopic follow-up, performing gastroscopies and colonoscopies, including for preventive purposes.

After earning his degree in Medicine and Surgery from La Sapienza University of Rome, he specialized in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy.

Dr. Zannoni has acquired extensive hospital experience, beginning in 1979 at the Gastroenterology Division of the Nuovo Regina Margherita Hospital in Rome, and continuing at various institutions, including the S. Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome.

He is the author of numerous scientific publications in both national and international journals.
