Tumors and Radiotherapy: Prof. PierCarlo Gentile Discusses

Technological innovation and continuous research have allowed radiotherapy to achieve results that were unthinkable until recently. This translates not only into higher levels of cancer survival, but also into a better quality of life for cancer patients.

"Thanks to the reduced treatment time and very low toxicity, radiotherapy is becoming the first approach to cancer treatment." Prof. PierCarlo Gentile, Medical Director of UPMC Hillman Cancer Center San Pietro FBF, will talk about this and equitable access to care at the Health Festival organized by La Repubblica, which will take place in Rome from October 20 to 22.
