UPMC Salvator Mundi is the Main Sponsor of the Valerio Galea Cup Tennis Tournament
Supporting Young European Talents in the Davis Cup Under-18 Finals
UPMC Salvator Mundi International Hospital is proud to be the Main Sponsor of the final stage of the Valerio Galea Cup, a historic youth competition that serves as the European final of the Under-18 Davis Cup. The tournament will take place from August 4th to 6th, 2025 at the prestigious Circolo della Ginnastica Roma, located near the Aurelian Walls.
The best under-18 European talents will take the court: 8 national teams, qualified from among the 28 participating in the elimination rounds (July 30th – August 1st), will compete for the most coveted team title in the youth circuit organized by Tennis Europe and FITP (Italian Tennis and Padel Federation). Over the years, this tournament has featured players who later became stars of world tennis, including Boris Becker, Ivan Lendl, Ivan Camporese, and Gianni Ocleppo.
Once again, UPMC Salvator Mundi International Hospital will be courtside with its highly specialized medical and physiotherapy team, providing healthcare and support to the competing athletes.
By supporting events like the Valerio Galea Cup, UPMC reaffirms the importance of sport as a tool for prevention, the promotion of physical and mental well-being, and the encouragement of healthy lifestyles—especially among younger generations. Movement, discipline, body awareness, and team spirit are central elements of the integrated approach to health that inspires our daily work.
We look forward to seeing you there to support top-level youth tennis!
