Dr. Gilberto Acquaviva

Dr. Acquaviva is manager of I level I Service of Foniatrics and Endoscopy at the San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome. He has taught various courses at Sapienza University of Rome), Ferrara University and the Bufalini Cesena Hospital Division. He attended the Voice and Swallowing Disorders Center of St. Joseph Hospital and the Department of Otolaryngology of the Moory University of Atlanta. He is a technical consultant for the otolaryngology of the Civil Court of Rome. He has participated in numerous research projects at Sapienza University of Rome, mainly in the field of oncological surgery of the Cervic-Faccoral district. At the S. Camillo Hospital in Rome, he gained experience in the field of cervical oncology addressing the phono-degluditor rehabilitation after removal or reconstructive surgical interventions of the superior aerodigestive area. He also covers the field of audiology and vestibology, from diagnostics to the treatment of dizziness and sudden deafness, with the use of the audiometer, impedanceometer, ococalorimeter, roundabout chair with electronistagmographic recording and recording of potential auditors. In the field of phoniatrics and laryngological diagnostics, he uses vocal spectrograde, video -fibrolaringoscope transnasal, video-taleringoscope and video-stroboscope.
