Dr. Maria Almberger

Dr. Maria Almberger is a specialist in Radiodiagnostics with extensive experience gained in various centers of excellence. She has worked in the Radiology Departments of S. Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome, the University of L'Aquila, and the University Hospital SS. Annunziata in Chieti, developing solid expertise in all imaging diagnostic techniques. She is an expert in the advanced use of Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Ultrasound, and Emergency Radiology.

She currently works as a staff physician in the Radiology Emergency Department (DEA) at the Policlinico Umberto I Hospital of the La Sapienza University in Rome.

After her medical degree at University of Rome La Sapienza, she obtained a second degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Tor Vergata. She also obtained her specialization diploma in Radiodiagnostics from La Sapienza University and completed a two-year Master's in Oral Surgery at the San Filippo Neri Hospital in Rome.

Her training was further enhanced by international experiences in the Departments of Pathology and Gastroenterology at the Allgemeines Oeffentliches Krankenhaus in Wels, Austria, as well as at the Neuroradiology Institute of the University Hospital in Zurich.

She is the author of numerous scientific publications and a co-author of educational texts on radiodiagnostics. She is also involved in research activities as a DIAS 3&4 Investigator in Barcelona, Spain.
