Dr. Elisabetta Bernardi

Dr. Bernardi is a food science specialist, biologist and nutritionist. She has twenty years of experience in scientific communication and scientific research on the topic of nutrition for sport. She is an author and presenter in various scientific television broadcasts including Rai and carries out research at the Sports Sports School of Sports Medicine of the University of Rome Sapienza. She is involved in numerous food education projects, the last of which was promoted by De Agostini which aims to educate and encourage children through a game to make correct food choices to help relieve the prevalence of childhood obesity. She is a professor of principles of anthropometry and corporate composition assessment techniques during the course of improvement in Biology of Nutrition at the University of Bari and Nutrition and Performance to the second level course for coaches organized by the Federation Italian Basketball (wheelchair). She is the author of several scientific and popular publications and is a member of the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), the SIO (Italian Society of Obesity) and the Scientific Committee of Assalzoo.
