His expertise includes endoscopic surgery of paranasal sinuses and anterior skull base, treatment of lacrimal sac stenosis, and both traditional and endoscopic ear surgery.
He is highly experienced in otoplasty, pediatric hearing disorders, and the diagnosis and treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea also using advanced diagnostic tools such as Advanced Sleep Endoscopy. He also specializes in functional nasal surgery (including septorhinoplasty and turbinate reduction using radiofrequency and laser techniques), adenoid and tonsil surgery (both traditional and coblator-assisted), as well as thyroid and major salivary gland surgery.
After graduating in Medicine and Surgery and specializing in Otolaryngology at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, he further specialized in sleep-related breathing disorders. He trained at Sant’Orsola Malpighi Hospital in Bologna, Istituto Regina Elena in Rome, Ospedale Lariboisière in Paris and earned a two-year Master’s degree (EOSDRS) in Sleep-Disordered Breathing.
Dr. Bevilacqua currently serves as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at San Filippo Neri Hospital (ASL Roma 1), where he is Head of the Endoscopic Surgery Unit for Nasal and Skull Base Disorders and for Lacrimal System Surgery.
