Professor Filippo Cademartiri

Filippo Cademartiri is a renowned clinical radiologist specialized in advanced diagnostic imaging technologies.

His professional expertise ranges from advanced cardiac and vascular imaging to oncological and gastroenterological diagnostics, employing state-of-the-art technologies such as Dual-Energy/Spectral and Photon-Counting computed tomography.

Prof. Cademartiri completed his medical degree and specialized in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, both cum laude, at the University of Parma.

Prof. Cademartiri was awarded a scholarship to the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, where he conducted advanced research in multi-slice computed tomography and led the clinical implementation of the first generation of 16-slice CT scans.

In Italy, he served as staff physician at the University Hospital of Parma, where he was the reference specialist for Cardiovascular CT and the head of quality and research at the Radiology Department. He has contributed to the development of innovative diagnostic techniques and has participated in numerous international research projects.

Currently, Prof. Cademartiri is Director of Clinical and Research Imaging for Advanced Cardiovascular Diagnostics at IRCCS SYNLAB SDN in Naples.

Author of over 1,000 scientific publications, with an h-index of 90, he is one of the most cited radiologists in the world. He is member of the editorial boards of major scientific journals and has been a speaker at numerous international conferences.
