Dr. Cantore is Medical Director of the UOC of Otorinolaringoiatria, of the ASL Roma 1, San Filippo Neri Hospital and head of the UOS Regional Coclearic Systems Center of the San Carlo Regional Hospital of Potenza. He is also a leader of the European Academy of Otology and Neuro-Otology. He specializes in the diagnosis and medical and surgical treatment of deafness, including diseases such as octosclerosis surgery, coclear systems (bionic ear), and partially and totally implantable auditory prostheses (without any visible external component). He is the Audiology contract university professor of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Catholic University, PhD in Neurophysiology of the Facial Cervic District, II level University Master in Protestic Surgery of Deafness, 4 Masterclass of Coclear Electrostimulation achieved in Belgium. He performed around 2500 surgical interventions of which over 1200 as the lead physician. He has presented at numerous national and international congresses in Italy and abroad. He also trained at the Universites of Miami and NewYork and is the author of several international publications.
