Dr. Salvatore Caponnetto

Dr. Salvatore Caponnetto, a specialist in Medical Oncology, graduated with honours in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania. Subsequently, he obtained a postgraduate diploma in Medical Oncology at the University La Sapienza in Rome, where he also obtained a PhD in Experimental Medicine. He furthered his training at the HERLEV Hospital Center for Cancer Immune Therapy in Copenhagen, where he was a Research Fellow.

Currently, he holds the position of researcher at La Sapienza University of Rome, and is a lecturer on the degree course in the Science of Health Professions of Prevention, lecturer at the School of Specialisation in Medical Oncology at the same university. He also holds the position of professor of the Nursing Science course at the Rieti campus.

Dr. Caponnetto is a registered expert consultant for the Italian Medicines Agency (AIFA) and the General Agency for Regional Health Services (AGENAS). He is the author of numerous scientific publications and a member of prestigious professional associations, including AIOM, ESMO, ASCO and AIOT.
