Dr. Bruno Casaregola

Dr. Casaregola is a general surgeon with 40 years of professional experience, 20 years old in Italy and 20 years abroad. He has 20 years of experience as Medical Director/Hospital Director of Mega Cruise ships of the prestigious Navigation Company/Princess Cruises (3,000-4,000 passengers and crew). During this period he gained vast experience in emergency room medicine, general medicine, general surgery, orthopedics, infectious diseases, hygiene, internal medicine and intensive care. He collaborated with the C.D.C. of the United States of America (center for the control and prevention of infectious diseases), the public health agency of Canada, the Global Health of the United Kingdom and the W.H.O. (World Health Organization), by contributing to important research, scientific discoveries and reporting. For 15 years, he focused on the prevention and treatment of epidemics including Norovirus epidemics, the Sars epidemic and others. He was a member of the General Medical Council in London/U.K. For 15 years. At UPMC Salvator Mundi International Hospital he holds the position of medical director, which also includes the D.O.C. - doctors on call in case of emergency. He also focuses on strategy, recruitment, quality control, new business, clinical concierge and implementation of new services.He can address medical issues at any latitude and can interact with many different cultures, systems and medical structures.
