Dr. Virginia Cipollini is a physician and neurologist, with a particular focus on Alzheimer’s disease, an area in which she has participated in seven clinical trials as sub-investigator and study coordinator, as well as on neurovascular dysfunctions. She graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery from Sapienza University of Rome, where she subsequently completed her residency in Neurology and earned a Ph.D. in Clinical-Experimental Neurosciences and Psychiatry.

Her international research experience includes work at the Brain and Mind Research Institute, Weill Cornell University in New York, where she contributed to a project on neurovascular and cognitive dysfunction in arterial hypertension, and at the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society, where she collaborated on the project “Integrative approach to neurophysiological markers of cognitive disorders.”

Since 2024, she has held the position of Consultant Neurologist at the Stroke Unit of S. Camillo Forlanini Hospital in Rome. She is co-author of 24 scientific publications.
