Dr. Giuseppe Collura

Dr. Giuseppe Collura is a medical doctor and surgeon, specialized in Urology, with extensive experience in pediatric urology surgery.

He deals in particular with the surgical treatment of pediatric urology and nephrology, vascular access for dialysis, and management of major vascular emergencies. After graduating in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, he completed his residency in Urology, a PhD in organ transplantation, and a residency in Vascular Surgery at the same university, completing an advanced training in both open surgery and endovascular surgery. He has also undertaken advanced training in national and international centers of excellence, including Guy’s Hospital in London and Policlinico of Milan.

Dr. Collura is currently staff physician at the Urological Surgery Unit of the Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome, where he performs surgery for all pediatric urological conditions, focusing on the endourological treatment of renal calculi in pediatric patients. Previously, he was a member of the Kidney Transplant Surgery and Related Diseases Unit of the same hospital.

He also served as medical officer of the Italian Army, taking part in international missions, during which he performed surgical and emergency activities.

He is the author of national and international scientific publications.
