Dr. Piero Crabai

Piero Crabai is a medical doctor specialized in Plastic Surgery, Orthopedics and Traumatology, and Facial Surgery, with over 30 years of experience. He is renowned for his expertise in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast and face.

After his medical degree at the University of Florence, he specialized in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Milan. He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Facial Surgery at the University of Grenoble, France.

Throughout his career, Dr. Crabai has focused on post-cancer breast reconstruction, post-bariatric surgery, and reconstructive plastic surgery following major accidents. He currently leads prestigious medical centers in Italy (Rome and Milan), Switzerland (Lugano), and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Crabai has conducted extensive research in the development of diode laser devices, cavitation and EPL, making significant contributions to regenerative medicine at the Bioscience Clinic in Dubai. He has also organized numerous training courses, participated as a speaker at prominent international conferences, and founded the Crabai Surgery brand, through which he promotes educational projects in plastic and aesthetic medicine across Europe and the Middle East.

Dr. Crabai served as a medical officer in peacekeeping operations, working as a general surgeon at the Military Hospital in Somalia in 1993, and Mozambique in 1994. In 2020, he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and took on the role of head of surgical activities at the Military Hospital in Milan.
