Dr. Piergiuseppe De Girolamo

Dr. De Girolamo is a cardiologist and Medical Director UOC Cardiology 1-UTIC Hospital San Camillo-Forlanini Rome. His areas of expertise include the diagnosis and therapy of cardiac arrhythmias in adults, electrophysiological endocavitary study and transcatheter ablation, the study of syncope, clinical-instrumental evaluation of the patient undergoing transcatheter ablation of the atrial fibrillation and the patient undergoing pacemaker and automatic defibrillators for the cardicaca resincongization (CRT-P/D), diagnosis and invasive therapy of electronic devices infections for the control of heart rate, and electrocateter extraction of pacemaker and automatic defibrillators. He routinely performs intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), ablation of atrial fibrillation, cardiac pacemakers and automatic, monocamers, bicameral and tricameral defibrillators, and subcutaneous defibrillators (5-LCD). He also uses the conventional electrophysiological method, thinner and cryo-energy, and three -dimensional non -fluoroscopic electroanatomic map systems. He is the author of scientific publications concerning arrhythmology and clinical cardiology.
