Dr. Salvatore Dell’Aquila is a surgeon with over thirty years of experience in Acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. After his degree at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, he completed a postgraduate diploma in Pharmacology and Therapy at Fondazione Internazionale Fatebenefratelli.

In 1992, he obtained a diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture-Moxibustion recognized by the Beijing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. His passion for this discipline led him to teach Acupuncture, with a focus on Anatomy in Traditional Chinese Medicine, at Carlo Bo University of Urbino from 1993 to 2003, and later at La Sapienza and Tor Vergata universities in Rome.

Currently enrolled in Rome's OMCeO Acupuncturists Register since 1998, he has worked as a general practitioner under Lazio's regional health system from 1981 to 2024.

His long career, characterized by a constant commitment to integrative medicine, makes him one of Italy’s leading experts in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
