Dr. Alfredo Dell’Uomo is an orthopedic surgeon with extensive experience in hand surgery.

He is specialized in the minimally invasive treatment of hand and wrist conditions and injuries. His main areas of expertise include Dupuytren’s disease, trigger fingers, trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis, wrist, scaphoid and hand fractures, as well as carpal tunnel syndrome, also treated using endoscopic techniques. He performs infiltrative procedures, prosthetic implants, and removal of synovial cysts and tendon sheaths.

After graduating cum laude in Medicine and Surgery at University La Sapienza in Rome, he specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology and earned a second-level master's degree in Hand Surgery from the University of Verona.

Dr. Dell’Uomo previously was Director of the Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit at Villa Betania in Rome. He is currently Director of the Hand Surgery Unit at ASL Roma 1 and an orthopedic surgeon at the Day Surgery Orthopedic Department of Ospedale Nuovo Regina Margherita in Rome.

He is author of numerous scientific publications in orthopedics, hand surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, and upper limb prosthetic surgery. Additionally, he is an active participant in national and international congresses and surgical training, in Italy and abroad.

He is a member of several scientific societies, including the Italian Society of Hand Surgery (SICM), the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SIOT), the Italian Society of Hospital Orthopedists (OTODI), and the Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and Traumatologists of Lazio (ALOTO).
