Dr. Mauro Di Camillo

Dr. Mauro Di Camillo is a medical surgeon specialising in gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy. After graduating in Medicine and Surgery and specialising in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at La Sapienza University of Rome, he obtained a PhD in Surgical and Gastroenterological Pathophysiology at the same university.

With more than 20 years of experience in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pre-neoplastic lesions of the colon, neoplastic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and chronic inflammatory bowel diseases IBD such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative rectocolitis. Dr. Di Camillo also has particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of irritable bowel syndrome and gastroesophageal reflux, diarrhoea and constipation, food intolerances and halitosis.

He is the author of numerous national and international scientific publications.
