Dr. Massimo Farina

Dr. Farina is specialist in General Surgery. During his career he has dedicated himself to abdominal oncological surgery, both traditional and minimally invasive, of the gastro-intestinal tract and pelvis, colorectal neoplasms, and breast tumours. His main fields of interest are oncological surgery with both open and laparoscopic treatment, with a particular focus on the care and surgical pathways of geriatric patients. During his career, he has performed, among other things, numerous operations for benign pathologies such as diverticular disease (operative and conservative treatment), gallstones, hernias and abdominal wall defects with both standard and minimally invasive techniques. Head of the General and Oncological Surgery Department, at the San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital in Rome, with High Professionalism appointment for the coordination and management of high intensity patients.
