Dr. Antonio Febbraro

Dr. Antonio Febbraro is a medical oncology surgeon. After graduating in Medicine and Surgery and specialising in Medical Oncology at the University Federico II of Naples, at the same university he enriched by obtaining a 2nd level Master's degree in Management of Territorial Health, Social and Socio-Health Facilities: organisational and management models, as well as a Diploma in Economic-Managerial Training for Italian Oncologies of Excellence at the School of Management of the Bocconi University of Milan.

He is currently Director of the Oncology Centre Casa di Cura Villa Maria - UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Mirabella Eclano (AV), after having held the same position at the Sacro Cuore di Gesù Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Benevento.

Dr. Febbraro has carried out a wealth of clinical research activities in the field of the treatment of major cancers, holding the role of Principal Investigator in several clinical trials, and has participated in international multicenter and molecular biology and pathogenesis studies of colon, pancreatic, stomach and lung cancers in collaboration with the Faculty of Biotechnology of the University of Sannio.

Since 2017, he has been a Lecturer in Medical Oncology at the School of Specialisation in Medical Oncology of the Federico II University, where he is also a member of the Steering and Supervisory Committee of the Course of Study in Medicine.

Since 2014, he has been Medical Director of the Benevento provincial section of the Italian League for the Fight against Cancer (LILT).

Since 2010, he has been President of the Campania Regional Section of the Southern Italy Oncology Group (GOIM), a group of which he has also been National Secretary since 2020.

Author of numerous publications in international scientific journals.
