Dr. Ciro Ferrer

Dr. Ciro Ferrer is a surgeon specialising in vascular surgery, with extensive experience in endovascular and hybrid surgery on lower limb arteries, abdominal aorta and iliac axes, thoracic and thoraco-abdominal aorta, supra-aortic trunks, cervical de-branching. He also deals with the surgical treatment of visceral and peripheral aneurysms, arteriovenous fistulas, lower limb varices, endoleak embolizations, embolectomies and demolition surgery.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Perugia, Italy, later specialising in Vascular Surgery at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele in Milan. He then obtained his PhD in 'Advanced Technologies in Surgery' at La Sapienza University of Rome.

Currently, he is a Medical Director at the UOC of Vascular Surgery at the San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital in Rome. He is a speaker at numerous conferences, as well as investigator and co-investigator in various clinical studies in the field of vascular surgery. He is author of numerous scientific publications and member of the Italian Society of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery (SICVE).
