Dr. Francesco Forte

Dr. Francesco Forte is a medical surgeon specialising in ophthalmology, with extensive clinical and surgical experience, including paediatric experience.

After graduating from the University La Sapienza in Rome and specialising at the University of Cagliari, Dr. Forte practised at various national public and private health facilities. His professional activities include ophthalmic first aid, clinical and surgical interventions, and preventive medicine related to occupational health.

He has held the position of chief ophthalmologist at the medical office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Dr. Forte stands out for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the anterior segment of the eye, such as cataracts (with particular expertise in extraction by phacoemulsification), glaucoma and refractive surgery, as well as retinal and macular diseases. He is an expert in Argon and YAG treatments as well as retinal fluoroangiography.
