Prof. Francesco Franceschi

Specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology with extensive expertise in sports medicine, limb traumatology, and prosthetic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder. With over 25 years of experience, he has dedicated his career to the diagnosis and treatment of joint-related conditions.

Prof. Franceschi is renowned for his proficiency in addressing shoulder issues, including the treatment of shoulder instability, arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, cartilage implantation, and shoulder arthroplasty procedures (both reverse and anatomical). Since 1998, he has held the position of Adjunct Professor at the School of Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University Campus Biomedico in Rome. As of 2021, he has become an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Unicamillus Roma.

He serves as an orthopedic consultant for prominent sports teams, including Virtus Roma, Roma Volley, and the F.A.S. (Healthcare Assistance of the Vatican City State). Currently, he holds the position of Head of Orthopedics at the San Pietro Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Rome.

He is the author of numerous scientific papers focusing on arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, which have been presented at both national and international conferences and published in leading international journals in the field.
