specialist-professional-biography-headingAfter graduating in Medicine and Surgery at the University La Sapienza of Rome, where he also specialised in General Surgery N.O., he furthered his training in Vascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation (Ohio, USA).
From 1990 to 1999 he was in the Principality of Monaco, at the Department of Vascular Surgery of the Centre Hospitalier "Princesse Grace" of Monte Carlo, where he carried out continuous assistance activities in agreement with the Health Service of France and Italy. Returning to Italy in 1999, he was SUMAI Specialist Doctor for Vascular Diagnostics, Angiology and Vascular Surgery at ASL Roma E until 2001.
He has a recognised professional competence in the field of vascular diagnostics and surgery, in particular in the management of wards, private outpatient clinics and day surgery units. He is an expert in the treatment of vascular pathologies using the ENDOLASER technique.
Since January 2023, he has been co-head of the Service of Phlebology and Vascular Surgery at UPMC Salvator Mundi International Hospital. He is a fiduciary doctor for FAO, WFP and IFAD employees, as well as for the US Embassy in Italy, and the US Armed Forces in Italy.
Speaker at national and European congresses, he has numerous scientific publications in national and international journals, including the European Journal of Vascular Surgey and the American Journal of Vascular Surgery.
He is a member of the AFADS and AFI Scientific Societies.
