Professor Leonarda (Leda) Galiuto is a leading figure in the field of cardiology, with extensive clinical experience, solid academic training and numerous professional awards. She currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Cardiology at the Sapienza University of Rome.

With a degree in Medicine with honours from the University of Bari and several specialisations, including Cardiology, Sports Medicine and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, she has broadened her knowledge over the years. She also holds a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Cardiology from the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome, highlighting her commitment to scientific research.
