Dr. Riccardo Gigli

Dr. Riccardo Gigli is a physician specialising in radiodiagnostics, with extensive training in interventional neuroradiology. He received his training at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Policlinico Agostino Gemelli, obtaining the highest grade cum laude in both the specialisation in radiology and the Level II University Master in Vascular Interventional Neuroradiology. His skills include the NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and the Modified Rankin Scale, as well as holding a certificate in Good Clinical Practice (NIDA Clinical Trials).

He carried out training experiences at the Careggi University Hospital in Florence, consolidating his skills in the field. He qualified as a medical surgeon at the Policlinico Umberto I of the University of Rome 'La Sapienza'.

During his training and professional career, he has participated in various congresses and refresher courses in the field of interventional neuroradiology, presenting oral communications at important national and international congresses such as the ECR 2023 European Congress of Radiology in Vienna.

He has published several articles in specialised journals in the field of radiology and neuroradiology, dealing with relevant topics in the field of neurovascular diagnostic imaging and the application of radiomics for the personalisation of treatments in brain diseases.
