Prof. Maurizio Koch

Professor Koch is a gastroenterologist and epidemiologist. He is director of the complex operating unit of gastroenterology and hepatology at the San Filippo Neri Hospital Complex of Hospital in Rome. His research interests include evidence-based medicine (EBM), evidence-based gastroenterology and hepatology, chronic hepatitis from viruses B and C, liver carcinoma and biliary tract, gastroduodenal and hepatic damage, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, diverticular disease of the colon, morphometry of the liver and stomach, chronic inflammatory intestine diseases (IBD), irritable colon syndrome, dyspepsia, and clinical epidemiology. He is the author of over 105 scientific works, presented in important national and international congresses. He is the author of 131 works recorded on Pubmed and subjected to peer-review.
