Prof. Ignazio Majolino

Professor Majolino is a internal medicine/hematology specialist. He is Director of the Complex Unit of Hematology and Transplants of Staminal Cells and Director Department of Specialized Medicine of the San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital of Rome. He has carried out over 1000 stem cell transplants and has worked on missions to Eritrea and Mauritania. He is the author of numerous publications, which are the result of a research activity in the following fields: biological aspects of hemostasis and thrombosis; biological and clinical aspects of malignant hemopathies; HIV infection; bone marrow transplant or peripheral stem cells.
