Dr. Alessia Mammaro

Dr. Alessia Mammaro is a medical surgeon, specialising in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. After graduating with honours in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome 'Tor Vergata', she completed her specialisation at the same university, again with top marks.

At the Artemisia Roma Main Centre, he obtained certifications as an operator qualified to perform Amniocentesis and SCA-TEST (Computerised Screening of Aneuploidies). He also completed a residency course at the Artemisia Centre for Prenatal Diagnosis and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, perfecting his skills in Obstetric-Gynaecological Ultrasound, Echocardiography, Maternal-Fetal Doppler Flowmetry, Color-doppler, Energy-color-doppler, Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Medicine.

Dr. Mammaro has also acquired extensive educational and professional experience in the areas of cervico-vaginal and vulvar pathophysiology, colposcopy and sexually transmitted diseases. She has been dealing with all gynaecological problems for years, with particular attention to those related to the menopausal age.

She is an expert in the use of the CO2 vaginal laser for the treatment of menopause-related complaints, such as vaginal dryness, burning, itching, and recurrent cystitis.

Currently, Dr. Mammaro is the Medical Director of Synlab Lazio in Rome.

She has participated in numerous congresses and refresher courses.
