Dr. Marco Marcasciano

Dr. Marcasciano is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. He specialized in innovative technologies in the diseases of the skeleton, the skin and the Oro-Cranio-Faccele area. He received his degree from Sapienza University, Rome and is Medical Director of Plastic Surgery at Spedali Riuniti Hospital of Livorno-Unit Integrated Livorno/Cecina/Piombino/Elba -Tuscan North-West, where he performs outpatient plastic surgery since 2017. He also is on staff at the plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery unit of the A. Fiorini hospital and the S. Giovanni di Dio hospital (ASL Latina)Sapienza University of Rome (Pole Pontino) and at the Center for Senology-Breast Unit Del Santa Maria Goretti Hospital (Latin ASL) Sapienza University of Rome. Here he performed 160 surgeries including subcutaneous mastectomy/skin sparing mastectomy/nipple sparing mastectomy, lyphadenectomy axillary, and reconstruction with prostheses/membranes/expansion/autologous fabric. He also studied at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic-Burn Center Hospital University Hospital Hermanos AmaijeirasUniversidad de Ciencias Medicas de la Habana and at the Instituto Nacional de Oncology Y RadiBiology (Sor) Department of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery -Breast Unit -Universidad de Ciencias Medicas de la Habana in Cuba. He is the author of several publications.
