Prof. G. Antonio Marrocco

Professor Marrocco is a pediatric surgeon with a special focus on urology. He is  Director of Surgery and Pediatric Urology at San Camillo Forlanini Hospital of Rome and former Pediatric Urology Manager IRCCS CA 'Granda Polyclinic Maggiore in Milan. He established the department of pediatric urology at the Maggiore Polyclinic in Milan. For 25 years, he has been addressing sexual differentiation disorders and related pathological conditions. He carries out pediatric urology surgery including the correction of neonatal urological malformations. He is President of the International Society on Hypostia and Disorders of Sex Development. He carried out about 11,000 surgeries as lead physician including neonatal surgery interventions (esophageal atresia, diaphragmatic hernia, gastroschisi, etc.) and pediatric urology (hydronephrosis, stenosis of the Pielo-Uteral joint, epispadie, summer inspiration , etc.). During his career he performed surgical interventions in all areas of surgery and pediatric urology.
