Dr. Maria Chiara Meloni

Dr. Maria Chiara Meloni is a medical doctor and surgeon, specialized in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, with specific expertise in the surgical treatment of knee, ankle, and foot disorders.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery at the Università Campus Bio-Medico of Rome, she completed her residency in Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the same university. She later earned a Master’s degree in the treatment of degenerative knee disorders at the University of Molise, consolidating her experience in the management of osteoarthritis and degenerative conditions of the lower limb.

She perfected her training in various national and international centers of excellence, including the University of Toronto, Canada, where she was awarded a research fellowship in Bone and Joint Pathobiology that allowed her to focus on the biological and clinical aspects of osteoarticular diseases.

Dr. Meloni treats degenerative conditions of the lower limb and performs foot, ankle, and knee surgery integrating surgical practice and clinical research.

She is the author of scientific publications in national and international journals, also on complex and rare diseases such as algodystrophy.
