Professor Minisola is a specialist in rheumatology, internal medicine, physiatria and angiology. His scientific activity and professional training has been mainly oriented towards experimental and clinical rheumatology and clinical pharmacology applied to rheumatic patients. He worked at the prestigious Wexham Park Hospital in London and has always dedicated particular interest to the genetic, metabolic, clinical and therapeutic aspects of rheumatic diseases, including pediatric rheumatology. He has earned recognition in areas such as rheumatoid arthritis, connectives (lupus and sclerodermia), gout, Seronegative spondyloarthritis (psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis), fibromyalgia, arthrosis, algodystrophy, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and Paget disease.
