Dr. Minucci is a specialist in diagnostic radiology. He is a I Level UOC Cardio-vascular and urgent radiologist at the San Camillo Forlanini Hospital of Rome. In over thirty years of work he has performed about 9,400 vascular radiology procedures, of which about 40% of were interventional radiology (PTA, PTA-STENT, nephretomies, embolizes and sclerosis, chemoembolitions, percutaneous drains, pulmonary trombolisi and aortic endoprothese peripherals in Abdominal and chest aneurysms, PTA-STENT CAROTIDI ARTERIES ETC.). He is an expert in percutaneous cateterism of the sperm veins for the care of the varicocele. In 1991 he introduced the original technique of transbrachial cateterism of the internal spermatic veins. From 1988 to today, about 2200 varicocele patients have operated on. He participated in the compilation of the guidelines of the Varicocele of the Italian Society of andrology. In collaboration with Dr. G.Mazzoni, he has developed the original technique of antero/retrograde sclerosis of the sperm veins with simultaneous transbrachial retrograde and transcrotal anterograd. He performed the first experiences, nationally, for the endovascular repair of iliac aneurysms and at the Celio military hospital in Rome, he performed, as the lead physician, numerous endoprotesis plans for the exclusion of aneurysms of the abdominal aorta, using most of them of the different prostheses on the market and PTA - Stent Carotidei. He is part of the national study group for the diagnostics and therapy of the women's varicocele of the Italian Soc. Vascular diagnostics S.I.D.V-G.I.U.V. and author of numerous publications.
