Dr. Alfredo Orefice

Dr. Alfredo Orefice is a surgeon specialising in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, and is particularly experienced in treating foot and ankle problems in both adult and paediatric patients.

He uses the latest minimally invasive techniques, both for the correction of hallux valgus and for other foot deformities. In addition, the doctor is also particularly experienced in the treatment of children's flat feet and in the use of regenerative medicine for chronic diseases and trauma outcomes.

He is currently medical director of the Operative Unit of Foot Surgery at the CTO A. Alesini Hospital in Rome. Alesini in Rome. At the same facility, he is also in charge of the Paediatric Orthopaedics Outpatient Clinic of the Lower Limbs.

After graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the Tor Vergata University in Rome, he specialised in the same university, discussing a thesis on the surgical treatment of tibial plateau fractures. He is also a lecturer on the Degree Course in Nursing at the same university.

In 2011, he took part in a humanitarian mission in Burundi (Africa), focusing on the surgical treatment of congenital deformities in children.

He is a member of the Italian Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (S.I.O.T.), the Italian Society of the Ankle and Foot (S.I.C.P.) and the Latium Association of Orthopaedic Traumatologists (A.L.O.T.O.).
