Dr. Beniamino Rosario Pagliaro

Beniamino Rosario Pagliaro is a medical doctor specialized in cardiology, with advanced skills in clinical and interventional cardiology, and hemodynamics.

Throughout his career, Dr. Pagliaro has developed advanced expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and multidisciplinary management of acute, chronic, and advanced heart failure. In the field of interventional cardiology, Dr. Pagliaro's activity focuses on percutaneous treatment of valve diseases with minimally-invasive advanced techniques such as TAVI (transcatheter aortic valve implantation) for aortic stenosis, MitraClip for mitral and Triclip/TricValve for tricuspid insufficiency.

He is also a certified medical expert in the perioperative management and follow-up of patients with VAD (ventricular assist device).

After graduating cum laude in Medicine and Surgery and specializing in Cardiovascular diseases at La Sapienza University in Rome, he conducted a fellowship at the Hemodynamics Unit of San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, followed by a Master's degree in Interventional Cardiology at Humanitas University in Milan.

Dr. Pagliaro worked in the Cardiovascular Department and the Clinical and Interventional Cardiology Unit of Humanitas IRCCS Clinical Institute in Rozzano (Milan), where he also served as clinical and organizational liaison for the Cardiac Failure Unit.

Today he is a staff physician at De Gasperis Cardiac Center – ASST Grande Ospedale Metropolitano Niguarda, in Milan. He is also a Ph.D. student in Digital cardiovascular medicine, pathology, and cutting-edge therapeutics at the Department of Clinical and Molecular Medicine of La Sapienza University.
