Dr. Stefano Pivanti

Dr. Stefano Pivanti is a medical doctor specialized in radiodiagnostics, with particular experience in breast diagnostic imaging.

Since his medical degree at University La Sapienza in Rome and his specialization in Radiodiagnostics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome over thirty years ago, he has dedicated his activity to breast diagnostic imaging.

He has gained extensive experience at S. Camillo-Forlanini Hospital, working in close collaboration with the multidisciplinary team of the Breast Unit for the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. He has served as a staff physician since 1987, and in 1988 he established and organized the hospital's first mammography service.

Since July 2010, Dr. Pivanti holds an Alfa 1 High Professional Level position in Senology, with specific expertise in preoperative ultrasound and stereotactic localization of non-palpable breast lesions.

He is currently a member of the Medical-Surgical Department of Integrated Patient Care, Breast Imaging Diagnostics Unit, Diagnostic Department at S. Camillo-Forlanini Hospital.
