Dr. Angelo Primavera

Dr. Primavera is a breast surgeon, after graduating in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome La Sapienza, he specialised in Emergency Surgery and First Aid at the same university. During his training, he attended several in-depth courses, including the ESSO (European Society of Surgical Oncology) course in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery.

For 22 years, he has been working at the Breast Unit of the Campus Bio-Medico University in Rome, where he plays an active role in both diagnosis and breast surgery. In particular, he has performed over 1000 breast surgeries as first operator and over 1500 as second operator. His commitment extends from minimally invasive diagnostics to the surgical treatment of breast pathologies, both benign and oncological, and the subsequent follow-up of patients.

Author of various scientific publications and the scientific film “Il Linfonodo Sentinella nel tumore della mammella. Tecnica di rilevazione mediante GAMMA FINDER una nuova sonda per chirurgia radioguidata”.
