specialist-professional-biography-headingProfessor Roberto Ricci is a specialist in Cardiology with a medical degree and extensive experience in interventional cardiology, intensive care, hemodynamics, as well as clinical cardiology and instrumental diagnostics.
After graduating with honors in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome "La Sapienza," he completed his specialization in Cardiology at the same institution. He then embarked on an intensive clinical career, focusing particularly on emergency management and the acute and interventional phases of cardiac care.
Throughout his career, he has held prominent positions within the public healthcare system. He is a member of the regional coordination team for the cardiac emergency network and serves on the inter-district prescribing appropriateness committee for ASL Roma 1.
He currently serves as Director of the Cardiology Unit (UOC) at the Santo Spirito and Nuovo Regina Margherita Hospitals in Rome, Director of the Emergency Department at Santo Spirito Hospital, and Head of the Interdepartmental Functional Area for Cardiology at ASL Roma 1.
Author of over 250 publications in national and international scientific journals, Dr. Ricci has participated in more than 200 conferences as a speaker or moderator. For over 20 years, he has taught Intensive Cardiology in the Nursing degree program at the University of Rome "La Sapienza," where he is also a member of the Board of the School of Specialization in Cardiology.
