Dr. Rita Wietrzykowska Sforza

Dr. Rita Wietrzykowska Sforza is a medical specialist in paediatrics, with extensive experience in Allergology and Dietetics. She received her medical degree from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, then completed her training in Allergology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Messina. She obtained his specialisation in Paediatrics with top marks at La Sapienza University of Rome.

From 1990 to October 2023, she held the position of Level I Medical Director at the Bambino Gesù Hospital in Rome for the departments of General Paediatrics, Allergology, Clinical Dietology and Endocrinology and Diabetology.

Over the course of her career, Dr. Sforza has accumulated extensive clinical experience in the assessment of children's health status, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of various paediatric diseases, with a focus on respiratory, gastro-intestinal, skin and systemic allergies, as well as dietary problems such as overweight, obesity, weight deficit and eating disorders.

Dr. Sforza is a member of the Italian Society of Paediatrics (SIP) and the Italian Society of Paediatric Allergology and Immunology (SIAIP). She is the author of publications on General Paediatrics, Allergology and Clinical Dietology.
