Dr. Angela Torsello is a medical doctor and surgeon, specialized in Medical Oncology, with more than twenty years of experience in clinical practice and oncology research.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome (1993-1999) and completed her residency in Medical Oncology at the same university (1999-2003). She further advanced her education with a second-level Master’s degree in Immuno-Oncology obtained at the Sapienza University of Rome (2016-2017).
Dr. Torsello served as a lecturer at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (2003–2004) and developed her clinical and research career at the Regina Elena National Cancer Institute in Rome (2004–2015). During this period, she focused on colorectal tumors, melanoma, sarcomas and other solid tumors, gynecological cancers, and the management of patients enrolled in clinical trials investigating liver metastases from colorectal cancer.
From 2015 to 2025, she worked as a Senior Medical Officer (Level I) at San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital in Rome, specializing in the treatment of gastrointestinal and brain tumors.
She currently serves as a Senior Medical Officer (Level I) at San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome.
Author of numerous scientific publications in both national and international journals, and a speaker at Italian and international conferences, Dr. Torsello has been a member of the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM) since 2004 and of the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) since 2007. She has also served as Principal Sub-Investigator in multiple clinical trials evaluating innovative oncology therapies.
