Dr. Paola Valente

Dr. Valente is an ophthalmologist with a II level Master in Ocular Oncology from Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome. He is Medical director at the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital in Rome, where he deals in particular with pediatric ocular oncology (retinoblastomas, retinal amartomi, retinal and choroidal hemangiomas, optic nerves, etc.), strabismo, rails in youth rheumatoid arthritis, conjunctivitis, and more. His primary fields of interest are pediatric ophthalmology, eye oncology, strabismo, and refractive surgery. He is the author of numerous national and international publications.
